Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Receives Renowned Armenian Astrophysicist Garik Israelian
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today received renowned Armenian astrophysicist, author and main organizer of the international STARMUS (Stars and Music) festival, Garik Israelian. This was reported by the Prime Minister's office.
Welcoming the distinguished astrophysicist, the Prime Minister described his scientific work as impressive and expressed hope that Israelian, with his vast experience and through joint projects with the government, would contribute to the development of science in Armenia.
Garik Israelian thanked Nikol Pashinyan for the high regard and expressed his willingness to actively engage in joint initiatives aimed at popularizing science in our country.
The two discussed plans for the 6th STARMUS festival scheduled to take place in Armenia this year, which aims to make science appealing to young people through music and art. The Prime Minister noted that the government is ready to provide maximum support for the proper and high-level organization of the festival.
