Large Fire Breaks Out in Apartment on 12th Floor of Yervand Kochary Street

On January 17, at 12:36, the "911" service received a report of a fire that broke out in an apartment on the 12th floor of building number 11 on Yervand Kochary Street in Yerevan.

Two fire crews from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue services, as well as operational groups from the firefighting and rescue organization department and the national crisis management center, responded to the scene, along with one fire truck and a psychological support instructor from the psychological counseling division.

The fire was contained by 12:59 and extinguished by 13:05. In the bedroom (16 sq. m) of the apartment, a bed was burned, glass in the door and window was shattered, and a crack appeared in the wall.

The psychological support division's counselor provided psychological assistance to the resident (Anush G.).
