Gunshot Marks Found on Walls of Kutoian's Apartment

Gunshot marks have been discovered on the walls of former NSS director Georgi Kutoian's apartment, as reported by "Factinfo." According to the source, an injury was found on the jaw area during the examination of the body, with one of the theories being suicide. There was also a firearm at the side of the body.

Earlier, we reported that the body of former NSS head Georgi Kutoian was found in his apartment on Paruyr Sevak Street in Yerevan with a gunshot wound.

Georgi Kutoian was born on September 30, 1981. From 2002 to 2010, he was involved in academic activities at the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University, the Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Armenia, and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. From 2005 to 2006, he was a researcher at the Scientific Educational Center of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia, and subsequently served as a prosecutor in the Legal and Structural Reforms Division. From 2006 to 2007, he was a senior adviser to the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia.

From 2008 to 2010, he acted as the chief legal adviser in the staff of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia. In 2010-2011, he worked in legal practice. In 2011, he was appointed Assistant to the President of the Republic of Armenia by presidential decree. From 2011 to 2014, he chaired the Monitoring Commission for the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy under the Council for the Fight Against Corruption. On July 14, 2011, he was appointed a legal member of the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia for a three-year term by presidential decree. On September 4, 2013, he was named a member of the Professional Commission on Constitutional Reforms under the President of the Republic of Armenia by presidential decree.

On February 3, 2016, he was relieved from his position as Assistant to the President of the Republic of Armenia by presidential decree. On the same day, he was appointed Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia and was later relieved of that position on February 12, 2016. On the same date, he was appointed Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia by presidential decree. On May 10, 2018, he was dismissed from his role as Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.
