Georgi Kutoyan's Body Discovered by His Wife: New Details from Arthur Melikyan

“We have discovered Georgi Kutoyan's body. Currently, an examination is being conducted at the scene with the participation of specialists. A weapon was found at the location,” stated Arthur Melikyan, the head of the Investigative Committee's Main Department, to reporters earlier today. He noted that the body was found by Kutoyan's wife.

According to him, when they arrived at the scene, Kutoyan's wife and father were present. “Right now, they are in such a state that they cannot speak,” he said.

According to information from the Investigative Committee, former NSS director Georgi Kutoyan has not been interrogated in connection with ongoing criminal cases at the Investigative Committee. Aurora News was also informed by the Investigative Committee that he has not been questioned in any ongoing cases.

It should be noted that Georgi Kutoyan's body with gunshot wounds was found in an apartment on Paruir Sevak Street in Yerevan.
