Video: Protesters Celebrate Abkhazia President's Resignation with Gunfire
The President of Abkhazia, Raul Hajimba, has made the decision to resign from his duties. This follows several days of protests in the country demanding his resignation. According to the RIA Novosti agency, protesters greeted the news with applause and celebratory gunfire.
The resignation of the president has also been confirmed by Abkhazia's Vice President Aslan Bartsits.
