Manhood Dignity Lowered to That Level: Vanetsyan
The family is sacred to me, and attempts to use one's own family to discredit others are unacceptable. This was stated by the former head of the National Security Service, Arthur Vanetsyan, on his Instagram page, responding to an article published by armtimes.am regarding the campaign against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's family members, particularly his wife Anna Hakobyan and daughter Mariam Pashinyan, which is supposedly coordinated and inspired by him.
“Dear journalists, please refrain from calling me to comment on the nonsensical article published in a media outlet belonging to Nikol Pashinyan’s family. It is beneath my dignity as a man to sink to that level. The family is sacred to me, and attempts to use one's own family to discredit others are unacceptable.
I must say that all the remarks and assumptions regarding me in the mentioned publication are completely false, and the subsequent speculations and fake attacks are already commonplace. The author and the initiator of that publication are not attempting to undermine me for the first time by connecting me with their hidden fears; however, it was unexpected for me that the 'struggle' would sink to this level.
This falsehood will not go unanswered, and my lawyers are already dealing with this 'publication.' I am honored.
P.S. Mariam dear, my daughter, please do not get involved in the incomprehensible games of the adults,” wrote Vanetsyan.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's eldest daughter, Mariam Pashinyan, responded to an article published on the electronic website of 'Haykakan Zhamanak' through a post on her Facebook page, stating: “We quickly became friends and even neighbors with the Vanetsyans. Every day, Shushana, the Vanetsyan boys, and I would break the tense atmosphere in the government summer residences with our games, evening tea, and apricot harvesting. We took care of and trained our dogs together. We became quite close with Vanetsyan's wife as well, often meeting in the evenings for coffee, either at our house or theirs. We spent our evenings together as an entire family. Even now, I warmly welcome the Vanetsyan boys and miss our evening gatherings. I was almost convinced that their desire to be close to our family was sincere. But it is unfortunate that this warmth was not genuine, and such conspiracies have been orchestrated against our family by Vanetsyan. It turns out that the coordinator of media campaigns and false news against our family is none other than Vanetsyan. This is the conspiracy. And there is even a greater likelihood of a larger conspiracy; it is possible that he coordinated the creation and dissemination of false news even during his time as the head of the NSS.”
