Protests continue in Iran with more than 50,000 people currently in the streets. Police are attempting to calm the demonstrators with water cannons.
Participants are calling for accountability for the military personnel responsible for the downing of the Ukrainian plane. At the outset of the protest, young people lit candles in memory of the victims. According to Al Jazeera, demonstrators are demanding the resignation of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
