Judo Athletes Participate in Gathering in Austria

The Armenian senior judo team is participating in the Olympic training camp "Towards Gold," held from January 7 to 15 in Mittersill, Austria.

Under the guidance of head coach Hovhannes Davtyan and chief secretary Tatul Hovhannisyan, the team includes athletes Ferdinand Karapetyan, Yuri Israelian, Tigran Badalyan, Meruzhan Sargsyan, and Boris Shatveryan.

More than 1,500 athletes and coaches from 67 countries have gathered to begin a new and intense training phase in preparation for the Olympic Games.
