Renovation of the Road Leading to the Haghpat Monastery Complex Has Begun
At the end of 2019, the renovation works of the H-25, M6-Haghpat historical monument road, stretching 5 kilometers, commenced. This road is a crucial tourist route, and its renovation will contribute to the development of tourism in the region.
The renovation is being financed from the Armenian government's budget. The contracting organization, 'Road' LLC, has already carried out earthworks. In the upcoming weeks, earthworks around the renovation area are expected to continue, along with the restoration of the drainage system, road pavement, artificial structures, and traffic safety elements, as well as road widening in certain sections.
The H-25, M6-Haghpat historical monument road runs through the village of Haghpat, and its renovation will also improve the living conditions of Haghpat residents.
