Zelensky Interrupts Oman Visit Due to Ukrainian Aircraft Crash
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has cut short his visit to Oman and returned to Kyiv due to a Ukrainian aircraft crash. This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine.
According to the statement, "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urgently interrupted his visit to Oman and is returning to Kyiv due to the crash of a Ukrainian Airlines aircraft in Tehran."
It is worth noting that this morning, a Ukrainian Boeing 737 en route from Tehran to Kyiv was involved in an accident near Imam Khomeini Airport. Preliminary data indicate that all passengers and crew members on board the aircraft perished in the crash.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has stated that information regarding the presence of Armenian citizens among the victims of the Boeing 737 crash is being verified.
