The United Nations welcomes any statement that calls for avoiding tension and direct conflict. This was announced today by the official representative of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Stéphane Dujarric.

Dujarric welcomed US President Donald Trump’s statement regarding the missile attacks on American military bases located in Iraq by Iran.
