Robert Kocharyan's Legal Team Files Cassation Appeal

The legal team of the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, represented by lawyer Haik Alumyanyan, has filed a cassation appeal against the Court of Appeals' decision not to allow bail for Robert Kocharyan. This was reported by Robert Kocharyan's legal team.

It should be noted that on November 7, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Anna Danibekyan, rejected the request of Robert Kocharyan's defenders to recognize the bail as an appropriate measure for him.

On December 20, the Court of Appeals, chaired by Judge Lusine Abgaryan, dismissed the appeal filed by Robert Kocharyan's lawyers, leaving the primary court's decision in legal force.
