Professors and teachers are kept in poverty while they are awarded: This is stated by Gevorg Petrosyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, on his Facebook page.

He specifically noted, “No one can explain to me why the officials responsible for the education system have been awarded, starting with the individual holding the ministerial position. I do not view with enthusiasm the awards given to civil servants in that system; people have done their job and struggled... But for what reason has the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports been awarded—was it for the honorable acceptance of a gender-diverse individual or for the development of the fields of education and culture?”
