Iran's Response to American Actions is Complete: Zarif

The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has announced that "Iran has exercised its right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter. Iran's proportional response to the American action is complete. Strikes have been carried out on the military bases from which attacks were launched against Iranian citizens. Iran does not seek war and does not wish for an escalation of the situation, but will defend itself in the event of any aggression."

Earlier, it was reported that the Ain al-Asad military base located in western Iraq, where American soldiers are stationed, was subjected to missile attacks by Iran. Iranian Press TV has reported that 80 people have been killed as a result of the missile strikes on American military bases in Iraq.
