Prosecutor's Office Appeals Decision Not to Detain Razmik Abrahamyan
The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has appealed to the Court of Appeal regarding the decision not to detain Razmik Abrahamyan, the director of the Republican Maternity Hospital.
In an interview with Armenpress, Arevik Khachatryan, head of the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, provided this information.
On December 22, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction rejected the request of the RA Investigative Committee's investigator to detain Abrahamyan. Razmik Abrahamyan is accused under Article 167, Part 2, Point 2 of the RA Criminal Code (illegally separating a child from parents or exchanging a child, committed by a group of individuals) and Article 200, Part 3 (commercial bribery).
