PM Pashinyan Visits Combat Post with His Wife and Catholicos to Congratulate Soldiers for New Year
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife, Anna Hakobyan, visited a state border protection area and combat position on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays, accompanied by His Holiness Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, Minister of Defense David Tonoyan, and Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Suren Papikyan.
Pashinyan first got acquainted with the upgraded command and staff technical means used in the Armed Forces. The Prime Minister then met with soldiers and commanders serving at the combat position, toured the combat post, and reviewed the current situation along the front line, the conduct of service, and the living conditions of the soldiers.
Pashinyan encouraged a group of officers and soldiers who distinguished themselves through selflessness and bravery during their service. The Prime Minister and Mrs. Hakobyan presented gifts to the soldiers and wished them a good and safe service, along with health. Pashinyan congratulated all members of the Armenian army on the upcoming holidays, extending his best wishes and gratitude for their dedicated service.
The Prime Minister also visited the Ministry of Defense's N unit, where he learned about the conditions created there as well as the newly implemented nutrition system. Pashinyan toured the cafeteria and inquired about the menu. Soldiers expressed their satisfaction with the new nutrition system, emphasizing its significant improvement over the previous one.
