Cars Collide, Injuries Reported
On December 30, at 6:29 PM, the '911' service received a call reporting a traffic accident at the Friendship Square overpass in Yerevan, where cars had collided and smoke was observed coming from an 'Opel' brand vehicle. There were reported injuries.
A firefighting and rescue crew from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the vehicles involved were an 'Opel Vectra A' (driver: Gevorg S.), a 'Nissan Micra' (driver: Sergey V.), and a 'BYD' (driver: Advard S., born in 1987).
No signs of fire were found. The passenger of the 'Opel Vectra A', Narine S., the driver of the 'BYD', and its passenger, Grigor A. (born in 1970), were hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center, where they underwent examinations and were later released.
Rescuers disconnected the power from the 'Opel Vectra A' and 'BYD' vehicles.
