Artsakh Defense Army Servicemen and Reservists Receive 44 New Apartments
Several servicemen and reservists of the Artsakh Defense Army have been provided with 44 new apartments, while some former servicemen have been given monetary compensation to improve their housing conditions. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh.
"In the spirit of New Year festivities and the joy of dreams come true, several servicemen and reservists of the Defense Army were able to enjoy the opportunity to move into newly constructed apartments just before the New Year. The solemn ceremony held in Martuni on December 29 was attended by not only the beneficiary servicemen and their family members but also Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan, State Minister Grigor Martirosyan, Secretary of the Security Council Arshavir Gharamyan, Minister of Defense, Defense Army Commander, Lieutenant General Karen Abrahamyan, and other officials.
During the opening ceremony, words of congratulations and gratitude were expressed, emphasizing the importance of improving the housing conditions for former and current servicemen in the context of having a more secure homeland, combat-ready units, and strong families.
It is also noteworthy that in addition to the 44 new apartments, several former servicemen were provided with monetary compensation to improve their housing conditions," the statement reads.
