VIDEO: 30-Year-Old Brother Stabs 24-Year-Old Brother in Sevan
On December 25, around 03:30, the Sevan police department received a report from the hospital indicating that a 24-year-old resident of Gayi Street in Sevan had been admitted with a stab wound to his abdomen. This was reported by the police information service.
Police officers arrived at the medical center, found out from where he had been transferred, and spoke with the doctor. The young man informed the hospital staff that the injury was caused by falling onto an object while performing household chores at home. However, his statement did not convince either the doctors or the police.
Following immediate investigative measures, criminal investigators determined that the victim had argued with his 30-year-old brother at around 1:30 AM over domestic issues, during which the brother stabbed him with a kitchen knife. The suspect was detained by the Sevan police on the same day. The knife has been found. A forensic examination has been scheduled. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
