This was a disgraceful show, not an election, said Marina Tashchyan, mother of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and former member of the FFA Executive Committee, during a press conference following the FFA presidential elections.

“Everything was arranged in advance, there was nothing to be done here, we all knew it. During the elections, I realized how things really are. I have been in football for 40 years and I have never seen such a disgraceful thing in football,” Tashchyan told reporters.

Regarding the development of Armenian football, Tashchyan expressed her belief that football cannot develop in its current state.
