Shots Fired in the Yard of Yerevan State University: Altercation Occurred

On December 20 at approximately 4:00 PM, officers from the Maraş Police Department's criminal investigation unit received operational information about an altercation that had taken place in the yard of Yerevan State University, located at 1 Alek Manukyan Street, during which shots were fired.

According to Shamshyan.com, the police discovered that around 2:00 PM, a dispute erupted between a group of individuals in the yard of the University’s Law Faculty, during which shots rang out.

Arriving at the scene, the police conducted an inspection and found two 9 mm caliber shell casings. Reports indicate that the police have identified the individuals involved in the altercation, but their details are not being disclosed at this time for investigative purposes.

Materials are being prepared in connection with the incident at the investigative department of the Central Police Station.
