«Hraparak». MP Tigran Ulikhanyan Discusses Prime Minister’s Daughter's Car

«Hraparak» newspaper writes that the public has been outraged for several days discussing why Nikol Pashinyan, who once fought against extravagance, is now indulging in excesses when it comes to his family, and why he purchased a $30,000 car with state budget funds that serves his eldest daughter.

MP Tigran Ulikhanyan from the ‘My Step’ faction urges not to be outraged, stating, “If it's in accordance with the law, then there’s no problem.” But does the philosophy of the revolution allow for such extravagance? “What does the philosophy of the revolution have to do with it?”

People believe that this money could address priority issues. “I did not make a decision regarding that amount; that is not an issue that captures my attention. As for the problems, we are trying to resolve them according to priority through daily work.”

Do you think people voted for you to ensure your own well-being? “Do you think that our work leads to ensuring the well-being of Nikol Pashinyan’s family?”

They cite the fact of the car. “If the law requires it, what flaw is there?”

The law does not mandate it. “No, I am confident that nothing illegal has happened. And that is not an issue that should attract much attention.”
