Home of Prosecutor General's Employee Robbed in Armenia
The home of the head of the statistical department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has been robbed in Yerevan. Shamshyan.com reports that an unknown individual or individuals broke into the residence of Anna Badalyan, a resident of the Ajapnyak administrative district, yesterday.
The incident occurred between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Using technical means, the door of Badalyan's apartment in Davitashen, building 46, was opened, and the interior was ransacked, with cash reportedly stolen from the bedroom. The amount of stolen money has not been disclosed.
In a conversation with a Sputnik Armenia correspondent, the police confirmed that they received a report about a burglary that took place in Davitashen yesterday. However, they neither confirmed nor denied the information regarding the ownership of the robbed house by the head of the statistical department of the Prosecutor General's Office.
