Highways in Armenia Mostly Passable, Lars Open

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of December 21 at 08:30, the highways in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. In the Vardenyats Pass, spots of black ice are present. Drivers of freight vehicles are advised to use chains.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
