Fire Breaks Out in Dilijan: Rescuers on Site

On December 21, at 10:52 AM, the emergency hotline service received a call reporting a fire in the grassy area near the "Paradise" hotel in Dilijan, Tavush Province.

Two firefighting units from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 3:14 PM and fully extinguished by 3:46 PM.

Approximately 2 hectares of grassy area were burned, along with 100 stumps, and nearly 100 decorative trees were partially scorched.

Fifteen employees from the "Dilijan National Park" State Non-Commercial Organization and 20 firefighters participated in the firefighting efforts.
