‘Zhamanak’: Cleaning Staff at the National Assembly Prepare for New Protest

‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports that cleaning staff at the National Assembly are preparing for a new protest in the near future. They are overworked due to ongoing renovation works in the Assembly and are receiving very low wages, even less than the minimum wage.

The leadership of the National Assembly can justify that the cleaners are not employees of the Assembly, but rather that the Assembly has contracted a private company responsible for the payments. There is also the ongoing justification that this has been the case during previous administrations as well.
