According to data obtained during the investigation, on June 18, 2019, a 64-year-old resident of Ararat province, in collusion with a 51-year-old resident of Yerevan, threatened the director of an eye clinic with the publication and delivery to law enforcement of information that would disgrace him and harm his legal interests. Subsequently, they demanded a significant amount of money equivalent to 1,500 USD, or 716,570 AMD, but were caught by the investigators of the National Security Service after receiving the extorted money.
