Road Traffic Changes in Several Streets of Yerevan

The Road Police informs that in order to improve road traffic and avoid delays and congestion of vehicles, experimental changes in traffic organization will be implemented at the intersections of Komitas-Vagharshyan and Kyiv-Halabyan-Leningradian streets in Yerevan starting from December 21, 2019.

As a result of these changes, drivers of vehicles traveling along Komitas Avenue from the Papazyan-Komitas intersection towards the Komitas-Vagharshyan street intersection and via the Kyiv bridge towards the Kyiv-Halabyan-Leningradian street intersection will be allowed to move straight or turn right at the intersections, instead of only being allowed to turn right as is currently the case. The traffic lights at these intersections will be modified by removing the right-turn signals that allow continuous traffic and will be replaced with specific directive signs and road markings.
