Former Georgian President's Son Stabbed
In the central district of Tbilisi, unidentified individuals have stabbed the son of former Georgian President Zviad Gamsakhurdia.
According to the Rustavi 2 television channel, Gamsakhurdia was struck by several knife blows to the chest. His condition is reported to be serious.
It has been noted that a criminal case has been opened under the article "attempted murder with premeditation," which carries a penalty of up to 15 years in prison.
