City Hall's Response to Citizen's Report on Microbus Driver Using Alcohol

Auroranews received a report that drivers of Yerevan’s number 67 microbus were drinking alcohol at the end of the route and then continued their work. Our source stated that they observed the drivers toasting, drinking vodka, and then taking the wheel. “I saw them drink, then passengers gathered and they went on the route,” the eyewitness told us.

Yerevan City Hall's Head of the Information and Public Relations Department, Hovsep Kubatyan, stated in an interview with Auroranews that they followed up on the report and clarified that the man seen in the photographs was not the microbus driver. “The driver of that vehicle does not consume alcoholic beverages at all due to religious reasons,” Kubatyan explained to us.
