Attempted Suicide of 24-Year-Old Citizen Averted

On December 19, at 19:37, the 911 service received a report that a citizen was on the Victory Bridge attempting to commit suicide. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting team from the Yerevan Rescue Division, along with an instructor from the Psychological Support Division, was dispatched to the scene (the instructor returned due to the resolution of necessity).

Rescuers, in cooperation with police officers, prevented the suicide attempt of Hovhannes K. (born in 1995). He was subsequently taken to the Central Police Department.
