This Year, Approximately 440 km of Roads Built: Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "As of November 2019, 330 km of roads have been constructed and renovated, and an additional 110 km of roads have been renovated through subsidy programs, meaning that approximately 440 km of roads have been built this year.
This year, more than 330 kilometers of state significance roads have been renovated, which is as much as the total renovations made during 2013-2017 combined. Essentially, in one year, we've accomplished as much work as was previously done in five years.
It should be emphasized that compared to previous years, the cost of road renovations has significantly decreased. For instance, in 2014, the renovation of 1 kilometer of road cost over 200 million drams, while this year the same works have cost the budget about 80 million drams, which is two and a half times cheaper."
