Accident Near 'Zodi' Bridge Results in Injury

On December 19, at 11:22 AM, the '911' service received a report of a traffic accident near the 'Zodi' bridge in the Ararat region, with casualties involved. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

A response team from the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was found that two vehicles, an 'Opel' (driven by Romeo T., born in 1978) and a 'VAZ-2107' (driven by Gor P., born in 1997), had collided at the beginning of the Zodi bridge. As a result of the accident, a passenger from the 'VAZ-2107,' Melania S. (born in 1963), was hospitalized at the Ararat Medical Center, where doctors assessed her condition as moderately severe.

Rescue teams disabled the vehicles and shut off the gas cylinder valves.
