What Armenians Searched for This Year: Google's Summary

Google has presented a summary of searches conducted from Armenia (and other countries) this year. Throughout the year, the most searched terms were the names of social media platforms. Most searches were conducted in Latin script.

A completely different picture emerges in image search, where one can clearly delineate men's searches (cars) from women's (flowers, cakes, etc.). The leading search queries here were also in Latin script.

In the news search sector, most queries pertained to Armenia and Armenians, as well as social media. However, deviating from the general picture of the leaders were searches such as “Manchester United news” (the former club of Henrikh Mkhitaryan) and “HIV” (Human Immunodeficiency Virus – the virus that causes AIDS).
