The Inspectorate Discovers Violations in the Aparan Community

Employees of the Geodesy and Land Use Control Department of the State Inspectorate of Urban Development, Technical, and Fire Safety conducted inspections in the Aparan community of the Aragatsotn region regarding compliance with the demands of Armenian land legislation.

Through document inspections and site surveys, it was revealed that the community's land balance sheet was incorrectly compiled, which subsequently becomes part of the regional and, later, national land balance sheet.

Aside from numerous violations identified during the document examination and site inspections, the inspection team discovered and registered that in the village of Dzhrambar, a residential building (summer house) was constructed without any legal and purpose-related documentation changes on the portion of agricultural productive land owned by a private citizen for industrial, natural resource use, and other production purposes.

Additionally, it was found that in the village of Chknagh, citizens bought five plots of land and constructed unauthorized villas, two of which were later legalized, while three remain unauthorized. One of these is located in a pasture area designated for agricultural purposes owned by the community, and it lacks any legal, registered rights and documentation regarding changes in its intended purpose.

As a result, the head of the Inspectorate submitted a relevant petition to the Aragatsotn governor to hold responsible officials in the community accountable.
