Drivers of Freight Vehicles Advised to Use Snow Chains

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of December 18 at 23:00, the roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia are primarily passable. There is spotty black ice on the Vardeniats Mountain Pass. Drivers of freight vehicles are advised to use snow chains.

According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Northern Ossetia Emergency Situations Ministry in Russia, the Stepanavan-Minda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
