Body Found Hanging in Apartment on Komitas Avenue

On December 17, at 21:55, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call via the '911' service reporting that a citizen was found hanging in an apartment at building number 34 on Komitas Avenue in Yerevan.

A team from the fire and rescue unit of the Yerevan Emergency Management Department, along with an instructor from the national center for crisis management's psychological support division, was dispatched to the scene. In the kitchen of the apartment, the body of 56-year-old Armenak N. was discovered, hanging from a gas pipe.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the body had already been lowered by the local authorities. The instructor from the psychological support division provided necessary psychological assistance to the deceased's relatives.
