False Alarm of Explosive Device at Police Building: Ministry of Emergency Situations
On December 17, at 12:36 PM, the "911" service received information reporting that an explosive device was placed in the police building located at 1 Mamigonian Street in Yerevan. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Emergency response units deployed to the scene included one combat unit from the firefighting and rescue service of the Yerevan City Rescue Directorate, a rescue unit from the special-purpose rescue operations center, a rapid response group from the civilian protection engineering unit, and an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center.
Rescue teams cordoned off the area and, together with police officers, conducted a thorough inspection of the police building and surrounding areas, ultimately finding no explosive device.
