15-Year-Old Kills Peer with Knife in Lori Province
The preliminary investigation into the case of the murder of a minor in the Lori Province has been completed by the Lori regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee. A charge has been brought against a minor born in 2004.
As previously reported, on April 27, 2019, at 16:20, a resident of Lori Province, born in 2004, was admitted to the RA Ministry of Health's 'Tashir Medical Center' with "penetrating stab wounds to the left side of the chest and left side of the neck, hemorrhagic shock with a 4th degree agonal state," where he died the same day without regaining consciousness.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the minor sustained life-threatening injuries during an incident related to personal matters, where a knife was used by his peer. Based on a collection of sufficient evidence, the minor born in 2004 has been charged under Part 1 of Article 104 of the RA Criminal Code. He has been placed in custody as a preventive measure.
The completion of the preliminary investigation has been announced, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an accusatory conclusion.
