Tragic Accident in Armavir Region: Driver Dies on the Spot
On December 16, at 19:55, the emergency service '911' received a call reporting that an accident had occurred at the beginning of Nor Armavir village in the Armavir region, with casualties involved.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional emergency management agency was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two 'VAZ-2107' vehicles had collided on the 12th kilometer of the Armavir-Nor Armavir highway. The driver of one vehicle, Serob A. (born in 1946), was pronounced dead at the scene.
Before the rescue team arrived, Garik G. (born in 1976), the driver of the other vehicle, was extricated from the car by bystanders and was hospitalized at the Armavir Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers secured the area, disconnected the vehicles from power, and closed the gas cylinder valves. At 20:40, they transported the deceased to the ambulance.
