Parking Fees at Zvartnots Airport to Increase Starting January 15

Parking fees at Zvartnots Airport will undergo a partial revision. Currently, the cost for one hour of parking is 500 drams, with the first 10 minutes being free. If a vehicle is parked for one day or more (but no longer than five days), the daily fee will be 2,000 drams. For parking between five to thirty days, the charge will be 10,000 drams.

Under the current system, payments for parking are made upon exiting the airport, at cash registers located next to the parking area. The airport management has decided to find a solution to reduce congestion near the cash registers at the airport exit. Therefore, vehicle owners who pay for parking at the cash register will see an increase in fees starting January 15.

The cost for one hour of parking will rise to 800 drams, and the charge will be 3,000 drams for one day (up to 5 days). For parking between five to thirty days, the fee will be 15,000 drams.

As stated by Satenik Hovhannisyan, the press secretary of Zvartnots, these rates will come into effect on January 15, 2020. However, the existing rates will be maintained for those who make payments through the terminals installed inside the airport. In that case, only the payment receipt will need to be presented upon exiting.
