Television presenter Eric Antaranian has addressed the reports regarding his departure from the Public Television Company on his Facebook page.
"In response to the 'sensational' headlines circulating in the media regarding this 'information,' I would like to state the following: I have been working at the Public Television Company for 22 years and have never written a resignation letter. Tomorrow, I will open the Public's broadcast with the 'Good Morning' program. I am confident that I still have things to say in the field of television. As for the format, the project, and the broadcast through which I will appear, this will be revealed in 2020.
I would like to inform you that as a citizen, I possess my civic stance, but as a professional presenter of non-journalistic, political programs, I maintain a public political neutrality.
P.S. Arsen Babayan is my friend, and I have never had any issues regarding the photo that was published," he wrote.
It should be noted that according to circulated information, Eric Antaranian was requested to submit a resignation letter due to a photo with former deputy head of the National Assembly staff, Arsen Babayan.
