Criminal Case Initiated in Embezzlement Case Involving Ruben Hayrapetyan

The National Police of Armenia has initiated a criminal case in the department related to former Armenian Football Federation President Ruben Hayrapetyan due to an embezzlement incident, citing several articles of the Armenian Criminal Code.

According to this, a criminal case has been initiated based on Article 315, Part 2 (official negligence that has caused serious consequences), Article 179, Part 3 (embezzlement in large amounts), Article 325, Part 2 (forgery of documents by a group of individuals), and Article 214, Part 2 (abuse of authority by employees of commercial or other organizations).

The initiated criminal case has recently been received by and accepted for proceedings by the Investigative Committee of Armenia. This was reported in response to our inquiry by Naira Harutyunyan, head of the Department of Investigations and Public Relations of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
