Amulsar Guardians Again Rejected Lydian

The guardians of Amulsar have decided not to allow Lydian Armenia to proceed with winterization work.

Earlier, SHANTNEWS.am reported that another discussion regarding Amulsar is underway. It should be noted that some time ago, Shirak Buniatyan, a member of the initiative 'I AM AGAINST MINING IN AMULSAR', announced that on December 8, Gevorg Grigoryan, the acting head of the Vayots Dzor Police Department, Ashot Khachatryan, the police chief of Jermuk, and several other police officers visited the Amulsar posts.

“During the meeting, Mr. Grigoryan suggested that access be granted to Amulsar, even if only for five days, to carry out winterization work. We rejected the proposal, arguing that no work has been done there since last year’s winterization, and it's not as if the packaged equipment needs to be repackaged,” Buniatyan wrote.

The meeting took place, after which the initiative brought the issue to discussion within the community.
