70% of Stray Animals in the Capital Have Been Spayed, Vaccinated, and Tagged

The spokesperson for the Mayor of Yerevan, Hakob Karapetyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "A year ago, Mayor Marutyan proclaimed the main principle of coexistence with stray animals: stray animals should not be exterminated, but at the same time, they should not pose a danger to people. Today, according to calculations, there are about 2,700 spayed, vaccinated, and tagged stray animals accounted for by the organization. This means that about 70% of the city's stray animals have undergone this process."
