Five Teenagers Arrested on Suspicion of Murder During Protests in Hong Kong
The Hong Kong police have arrested five teenagers who are suspected of murdering an elderly street sweeper during protests. This was reported by the Hong Kong police, as stated by RIA Novosti.
The arrested individuals include three boys and two girls, all aged between 15 and 18. In addition to murder, they are also accused of participating in riots. The incident occurred on November 13 during the protests, when police received reports that an elderly man had been struck on the head with a brick and lost consciousness.
The victim was a 70-year-old street sweeper who had stepped out for a break and decided to film the demonstration with his phone. That was when he was fatally injured.
