Black Ice Present in the 'Zanger' Section of Syunik: Road Conditions as of 08:30

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of December 14 at 08:30, there are impassable roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is open to all types of vehicles, while heavy vehicles can proceed with the usage of snow chains.

Black ice is present in places on the Vardenyats Pass, the Sotk-Karvachar road, and the section of Saravan-'Zanger' in the Syunik region.

Fog is observed in the cities of Aparan and Ashtarak in the Aragatsotn region. According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the EMERCOM of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of transport.

Drivers are recommended to travel exclusively with winter tires.
