Azerbaijani Websites Released All Kinds of Trash About Our Prime Minister's Wife and There Was No Response: Armen Ashotyan

It is incomprehensible to me when the state's propaganda apparatus, from the National Assembly to the State Committee, responds to our criticism regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, but there is no response regarding Mammadyarov, Aliyev, etc., stated the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan.

Ashotyan specifically highlighted the statement made by the Prime Minister's wife, Anna Hakobyan, inviting Azerbaijan's First Lady to Artsakh. Following this, there were publications in the Azerbaijani press directed at Armenia's First Lady, which, however, received no reaction from Armenia.

"When I read the Azerbaijani press's reaction to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's wife, Anna Hakobyan's, unfortunate statement, I felt very offended as a citizen of Armenia. It doesn't matter that I do not share the political views of Anna Hakobyan's husband and do not welcome Hakobyan’s desire to exploit the mandate given to a person, but as an Armenian, it is very insulting when various websites marked with the suffix 'az' pour all kinds of trash about our Prime Minister's wife, and there is no response. Do you understand what this means? People don't even want to defend their honor, their dignity, their conscience. Instead, they sit in the entire National Assembly watching our interviews and focus on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. This, I cannot understand at all," Ashotyan added.

Recall that Anna Hakobyan had invited Mehriban Aliyeva as a guest to Artsakh, stating that she was also ready to visit Baku. Mehriban Aliyeva left Hakobyan's invitation unanswered, but instead, one Azerbaijani MP stated to Azerbaijani media that Anna Hakobyan is not a person of Aliyeva's level to deserve attention.
