What Positions Does Karen Karapetyan Currently Hold?

The former Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, has been appointed as a member of the Presidency of the Expert Council under the Russian Government. According to reports from Interfax, the composition of the Expert Council's Presidency has been approved by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

In addition to Karen Karapetyan, three former heads of the Russian government, Viktor Zubkov, Sergey Stepashin, and Mikhail Fradkov, have also been appointed as members of the council.

According to informed sources, Karapetyan is also a member of the Board of Directors of Zarubezhneft, a state-owned oil and gas holding company with assets and projects in petroleum geological exploration and extraction, oil refining, and sales.

Furthermore, the former Prime Minister of Armenia is included in the Board of Directors of REP Holding, a leading Russian energy machine-building holding company, and is a member of the Board of Directors of GPPB-Energy Effect LLC. This company specializes in developing comprehensive turn-key solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency for both business and the public sector.

Additionally, sources indicate that Karen Karapetyan holds a position in the Board of Directors of Uralmash NG Holding, one of the largest manufacturers of drilling equipment in Russia, and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Linguistic Technologies Center (LTC) Group of Companies. This Russian company focuses on designing innovative systems in the fields of speech synthesis and recognition, audio-visual data analysis, and multimodal biometric technologies.
