U.S. Senate Unanimously Passes Armenian Genocide Resolution

The U.S. Senate has unanimously passed a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide. This was reported by Spartak Seiranian, a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau, on his Facebook page.

Notably, reality TV star and Armenian-American Kim Kardashian shared a photo from the Armenian Genocide memorial on her Instagram Story and made a post urging everyone to call their senators and encourage them to vote in favor of the Armenian Genocide resolution.

The resolution was initiated by Senators Robert Menendez and Ted Cruz. This marks the first time a resolution recognizing the genocide has been passed by the U.S. Senate.
